Friction welding machines

Our latest-generation friction welding machines are the result of decades of continuous development. We design and build every system to the highest industrial standards, using high-end components from leading global suppliers, ensuring long-term precision and operational reliability.

Every machine is optimised for individual requirements and for specific product and material types.

For parts with large cross-sections, up to 300 kN. Computer-controlled and regulated hydraulic system.

Key features

Integrated flash removal system
The machine removes the excess material formed during welding immediately, so subsequent machining is reduced or eliminated.
In-process parameter monitoring
The integrated monitoring and closed-loop control system keeps the process parameters stable and traceable throughout the entire cycle.
Angular position stability
At the end of welding, the relative angle of the workpieces can be set with an accuracy of ±0.5°.
Ready for automation
Our machines integrate easily into robotic production processes.

Hydraulic valve block with hydraulic accumulator
Clamping units in the welding area, in half-light

Special-purpose friction welding machines

For special parts and production lines, we design and build custom, automated friction welding machines with part-specific feeding and handling systems.

We provide full support, from developing the welding process and optimising the parameters through commissioning to service.

Send us the part drawing, the material combination and the planned quantity. We assess whether the part is suitable for friction welding and propose how to produce it: by contract friction welding or on a machine adapted to the task. In every case, we validate the process by trial welding.
